Cuti Cuti Malaysia 2010 Pictures
Located about 112km south-east of Alor Setar, deep in the forest of Gunung Inas in the Baling district is Peranginan Bukit Hijau, a great retreat for the locals. Also known as Lata Bukit Hijau Recreational Forest, it is famed for its amazing seven-level cascading waterfalls that create seven pools of cool, crystal clear water.
Although picnickers come here during weekends and public holidays, its large camping ground with basic toilet facilities along the Sungai Mempelam (Mempelam River) is more than adequate for all. Activities available there include nature walks along the bridle path that leads to the forest reserve where one can see nature at its best.
Getting There
From KL, take the North South Expressway heading to Kulim. Located 42km from Kulim, you can drive to Bukit Hijau Park using the link road, looking out for signs directing you towards Taman Rekreasi Bukit Hijau. Optionally you can also take a taxi from Kuala Ketil town.

Famous Places In The World
Christina Pfeiffer lists the cities that have been the inspiration
behind some of the world's most famous tunes.
New York
If you want to wake up in a city that never sleeps then slip on those vagabond shoes and head for the bustling metropolis in Frank Sinatra's New York, New York. There's always something new happening in the Big Apple and Broadway is as hectic as ever. There are heaps of new musicals and plays including the revival of classic comedy The Odd Couple starring Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane, a new Andrew Lloyd Webber musical The Woman In White and Jersey Boys, a musical featuring the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. See
Rio de Janeiro
You don't have to wait until your baby smiles at you to go to Rio. Slip on those party clothes, give in to the rhythm of the samba and follow the Boy from Oz to South America's carnival city. During carnival time in February, hundreds of street festivities and bands turn Rio into one gigantic Latin dance party. At Rio's most famous beach, you'll still find the bar that composer Antonio Carlos Jobim sat at when he saw the Girl From Ipanema tall and tan and young and lovely sashay past.

How long is the Great Wall of China when was it built? The Great Wall of China is called “Wan Li Qang-Qeng” in Chinese. Spain Barcelona Beauty
Gaudi is the featured artist here in Barcelona, Spain. I wonder if that's where the English word gaudy comes from. The following an excerpt from CyberSpain
One of the most celebrated Spanish architects around the globe is Antoni Gaudí i Cornet. Yet as it is always, this is a testimonial of a great human being that was caught in the mires of his time, the petty political divisions of the Spanish politics of the turn of the century, and yet whose artistic creations have risen to international recognition. Gaudí, as we shall see, was not a pompous men, and his simplicity and character permeate his architecture, almost as if freeing architecture from the laws of physics and defying gravity itself; his style is often described as a blend of neo-Gothic and Art Nouveau, but it also has surrealist and cubist elements.
Antoni Gaudí i Cornet was born on June 25, 1852, in Reus, Catalonia; the son of Francesc Gaudí i Serra, a coppersmith, and of Antonia Cornet i Bertran, Gaudí was Christened Antonio Plácido Guillermo Gaudí i Cornet.
Gaudí was inscribed in the School Maestro Berenguer at the Monterols Street in Reus, where he met Eduard Toda Güell, who would become one of his life long best friends. By the time he was eleven (1863), Gaudí attended his secondary studies in San Francis Convent, which was run by Pairists, and spent his summers at Mas de la Caldereta de Ruidoms. He was afflicted many times by rheumatic fevers, and this maintained him in solitude from the youthful games; during this long periods of time, he spent observing nature.
Sagradafamilia02 Today my friend Shasta and I walked around the unfinished cathedral at La Sagrada Familia. In a nearby narrow street we walked down, a woman sang an opera song and it was cold and dark.
The picture on the right is of the one third completed work, which has been in progress since 1884, The picture at the right is from Barcelona Tourist Guide.
